Lois Langton:

Partner: Head of Family Law

Lois is a Partner in the Family department. She specialises in all aspects of Family Law including divorce, financial remedy, civil partnerships, pre-/post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation, separation and child related work (including adoption and surrogacy).

Lois is also the joint head of the Sports Individuals team.

Lois is a member of Resolution and is a trained Collaborative Lawyer. She is also a member of Women in Football, the China Britain Business Council and the 48 Group Club.

Recent work

  • a husband in a case involving a Liechtenstein foundation and multiple off shore structures
  • clients in cases where there are Imerman issues arising from the removal of confidential information and advising as to related breach of confidence proceedings
  • a wife in a Court of Appeal case concerning the treatment of inherited property
  • a wife in committal proceedings against her husband for non-payment of maintenance
  • a commissioning couple in an international surrogacy
  • on various pre- and post-nuptial agreements

Random fact

Lois’ principal interests are football and ballet. An Arsenal season-ticket holder (home and away), Lois is also Chair of the Arsenal Independent Supporters’ Association.
