Hollie Wright is a solicitor in the firm's Real Estate Dispute Resolution Team specialising in residential and commercial landlord and tenant issues and matters relating to land, such as easements and adverse possession.

Hollie acts for clients on both commercial and residential property matters. Her clients are usually in the real estate and retail and leisure sector or private individuals.

She acts for landlords and tenants of commercial premises in business lease renewals  (both opposed and unopposed),  break notices,  service charges, dilapidations, and forfeiture.

On residential property matters she acts for landlords and tenants on breaches of lease covenants such as repair obligations and unauthorised alterations or subletting, rent arrears, and service charge issues including major works consultations.

She acts for landlords of residential premises in the private rented sector, serving notices of possession, issuing court possession claims and instructing County Court bailiff's and High Court Enforcement Officers.

Hollie regularly acts for clients making applications to the Land Registry for registration of easements and  adverse possession claims, as well as, applications for light obstruction notices and referrals for determination by the First Tier and Upper Tribunal.

Hollie works alongside clients to help them achieve the best commercial outcome. 

She additionally advises on  right to manage claims under the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, including the service of notices.

Recent work
  • Acting for the owner of commercial premises in a High Court claim for possession against Travellers. Using the urgent procedure, Hollie obtained possession for her client within 48 hours of receiving instructions.
  • Acting for a residential freeholder in a claim for breach of use and alteration covenants against a leaseholder. She obtained a determination from the First Tier Tribunal and negotiated a favorable settlement for the client including remedy of the breaches and payment of costs.
  • Obtaining an interim injunction to prevent the disposition of a long leasehold interest in residential property following breaches of use and alteration covenants by the tenant and negotiating settlement to avoid an application for relief from forfeiture.
