Georgina Tyrell is a solicitor in the Banking and Real Estate Finance team.
Georgina has experience advising institutional lenders and corporate borrowers on a broad range of cross-border debt financing deals, with a primary focus on corporate lending, acquisition finance and real estate finance transactions including bridging, investment and development finance.
Before qualifying in December 2023, Georgina started her career as a Banking Paralegal in 2021.
- Advised AIM-listed specialist quarried materials group SigmaRoc plc on a multi-jurisdictional debt refinancing. The three-part deal included a €750 million senior term and revolving facility as well as a €125m senior bridge facility, with the acquisition valued at €1 billion.
- Advised a joint venture between two prominent real estate investors in relation to a £133m refinancing of three purpose-built student accommodation assets located in Guildford, Nottingham and Loughborough.
- Advised high-net-worth Singaporean investors on a £86m refinancing of six purpose-built student accommodation assets with a total of 902 beds located in Warwick, Bristol, Kingston, Durham, Glasgow and Exeter.
