Alexander Vilardo is a solicitor specialising in criminal law. He has experience representing corporates, boards of directors and individuals across multiple jurisdictions on matters involving bribery and corruption, fraud, market abuse, sanctions and general crime issues.
Alex advises clients on a range of criminal, regulatory and internal investigations. He has experience dealing with the Serious Fraud Office, Financial Conduct Authority, National Crime Agency, Health and Safety Executive as well as overseas regulatory bodies such as the United States Department of Justice, US Securities and Exchange Commission and Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
He has particular experience advising clients in relation to regulatory enforcement actions concerning securities fraud and recordkeeping failures.
Alex is a member of the Young Fraud Lawyers Association. Prior to joining Howard Kennedy, Alex was a trainee at a US law firm based in London.
