Over the past few months, the Howard Kennedy Private Wealth group has gained a number of notable accolades, recognising our expertise within the sector.
In September, the Private Client team improved their Legal 500 rankings in both the Contentious trusts and probate and the Private client: Personal tax, trusts and probate categories. Commentators noted that the firm's "very strong" contentious trusts and estates team, led by Naomi O'Higgins, gives clients a "Rolls-Royce service" and is a "stellar practice that is going from strength to strength". The Tax and Trusts team was observed as having a reputation for being "a very experienced team with an amazing list of clients. Nothing they can’t do".
Head of Private Wealth, Liz Palmer, has also been shortlisted in Spears 500 as one of the "Top Recommended Tax Lawyers 2022".
The Family team has had several eminent shortlistings and awards relating to individuals within the team. Head of Family, Lois Langton improved her ranking with Chambers UK within the Family/Matrimonial category, and is recognised for her work with ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Accolades included, "The brilliant Lois is frighteningly smart, incredibly dedicated and understandably adored by her clients".
Additionally, Jazmin Brown has been shortlisted for both the Spears 500 "Future Leader in Private Client" award and the "Young Solicitor of the Year" award in this year's Lexis Nexis Family Law Awards. Results will be announced in the coming month.
