Vanessa Laundon

Vanessa is a solicitor who advises retail and leisure operators and property investors on commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, refinances, and all aspects of portfolio management.

Vanessa has over 20 years' retail and leisure sector experience, advising a wide range of domestic and international retail and leisure clients on the full life cycle of their occupation, including site acquisition, disposals and general portfolio management.

Vanessa also advises new entrants to the UK retail market, with experience ranging from national portfolio acquisitions and roll-out programmes to high-value single-store acquisitions in London’s West End.

She has extensive experience advising private investment funds on the acquisition, disposal and management of commercial property interests including offices, retail and mixed-use residential/commercial properties.

• Acted for a Dutch fund on the acquisition and refinance of two office sites and a leisure scheme worth over £30m.
• Acted for EEH Ventures on the acquisition of a portfolio of mixed-use residential/commercial properties worth over £50m.
• Acted for EEH Ventures on the real estate aspects of a corporate acquisition of a residential development site worth £20m.
• Acted for Arlo Properties on the acquisition and refinance of an office development worth £3.8m.
• Acted for Elie Saab on the acquisition of its flagship store in Mayfair.
• Advising Pure Gym on the acquisition of various sites as part of its nationwide expansion.
• Advising Eco-World Ballymore on a portfolio of commercial pre-lets at the Embassy Garden and London City Island developments.

Vanessa loves to travel and is lucky enough to have completed two round-the-world trips. The list of places she wants to visit never shrinks though!
