VIEW ALLThomas advises landowners, developers and investors across the full spectrum of real estate disputes that arise throughout the life of an asset. His work covers leasehold enfranchisement, right to manage, telecoms issues, boundary and trespass disputes, adverse possession, lease renewals and termination, residential possession, and strategic commercial asset management. He has particular experience supporting clients through contentious asset-management events, where timing, negotiation strategy and commercial awareness are critical.
Thomas has previously specialised in telecoms, having acted for two of the largest operators in the country. This experience gives him a unique advantage when advising landowners: Thomas understands how operators think, how they structure their arguments, and where the real commercial pressure points sit. This insight allows him to anticipate the other side's approach, shape strategy early and help clients secure outcomes that protect long-term asset value.
Clients value Thomas' communication style as much as his technical expertise. He is known for being proactive, available and clear - keeping clients ahead of issues rather than reacting to them. Thomas focuses on delivering advice that is practical, commercially grounded and easy to act on - whether he is helping a landowner navigate a complex enfranchisement claim, resolve a boundary dispute that threatens development progress, or manage a contentious lease event. His aim is always to cut through complexity, reduce risk and deliver solutions that keep assets performing.
Thomas has lived a slightly more international life than his accent suggests. He spent part of his childhood in Kuwait, and later lived in Spain for 18 months, where he picked up a love for good weather, slower mornings, and the kind of food that never tastes quite the same back home.
He's also big on fitness and can usually be found in the gym - sometimes enthusiastically, sometimes because he's already paid for the membership. Training has become a steady part of his routine, and he'll happily talk about gym life or fitness goals if you let him.
Outside of work, he enjoys simple things: staying active, travelling when he can, and pretending he still remembers more Spanish than he actually does.
