Susan Pearson:

Legal Director

Susan Pearson is a Legal Director and member of the Real Estate Department.

Susan has a wide range of experience in the real estate sector, and has been involved in sales of individual and portfolio properties, acquisitions of development sites and investment properties, and the management of those assets post-acquisition.  Her experience also includes acting for the developers in the financing of their sites, both at the acquisition and the development stages.

Susan has particular expertise in advising developers on all aspects of their developments, from the initial stages of the development, including acquisition and site assembly, and throughout the development and completion stages.  She has worked with the developers in the provision of energy services agreements and other key utilities and statutory undertakings.  She also specialises in advising developers on the provision of affordable housing, from assisting at the tender stage through to acting on the land disposal and development agreement.

Susan also has experience in advising charities on property and constitutional matters, and is also working with a number of smaller Turkish construction and development clients in setting up and expanding their businesses in London and the UK generally.

  • disposal of affordable housing units on a major mixed use development in London

Random fact

Susan has previously been Chair of the charity Centre 404 based in north London, which helps people with learning disabilities and their families, and she remains on its board of trustees.
