Sharon Stark supports clients across the spectrum of real estate transactions. She acts for investors on the acquisition of residential and commercial developments, disposals, and landlord and tenant matters. She is fluent in French.
Sharon works with clients to help them reach their real estate objectives. She provides clients with practical, realistic and constructive advice. She is a solicitor in Howard Kennedy's Real Estate team.
Advising investors, she assists with the acquisition of development sites for residential multi-lets, hotels and Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) operations. Sharon's experience includes acting on the acquisition of a mixed residential/retail shopping centre and dealing with development site assembly.
Sharon supports landlords with asset management and re-gearing of real estate investments. She has additional experience acting for retail tenant occupiers, including supermarket chains.
Advising lenders and investors, Sharon's real estate finance capability sees her acting on the refinancing of their real estate portfolios.
- Acting for a developer taking a lease of water space and setting up the operating agreement for a river boat service to a residential development.
- Advising investors on the acquisitions of residential property portfolios comprising on average 40-50 houses each for operation as HMOs.
- Acting on the acquisition of a site for re-development of two buildings into 142 residential units.
- Advising on the ground rent sales of the freehold titles to the residential apartments at Riverwalk House and Chiltern Place.
- Advising on the sale of commercial units in residential developments at West Hampstead Square, Cygnet Street, Riverwalk House and Chiltern Place through new leasehold structures.
- Acting on corporate acquisitions of investment properties including office buildings for conversion to residential and the development of residential units at a shopping centre.
- Advising on the re-gearing of Westgate House for conversion from office lettings to residential units.
- Acting on the sales of high value apartments at The Mansion, Marylebone Lane.
Sharon is from Cape Town and qualified as an attorney in South Africa. She speaks French fluently and is studying Chinese (Mandarin).
