About

Qing is a Partner in the Private Client team and Head of China. She advises high-net-worth individuals, private families, senior executives, internationally mobile clients and corporations on UK and cross-border tax and legal matters.

Qing is qualified as a Solicitor, Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant, with over 20 years' experience advising clients on complex UK-China and wider international issues. Her work focuses on private wealth planning, international structuring and people-related matters arising from relocation, overseas investment and global activity, including advising Chinese clients with UK interests and UK businesses expanding in China.

She also has a long-standing focus on the education sector, advising universities and independent schools on international strategy and cross-border compliance, an area closely connected to her China-related work.

Qing takes a holistic, one-stop approach, working closely with colleagues across immigration, corporate, trust, property and family law to support clients as their personal, family and business interests develop internationally. Before joining Howard Kennedy, she was a Tax Director at PwC UK and worked with private clients in Guernsey and London. With extensive experience across the UK, China and Asia, she is frequently instructed as a long-term adviser by Chinese and international clients.
