About

Michael Weissman is a legal director in the non-contentious Construction team. He focuses on real estate development and the energy and infrastructure sectors, acting for a wide range of developers, funders, investors, and contractors.

Michael has significant experience drafting and negotiating all forms of construction documentation, such as building, civil engineering and infrastructure contracts, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, consultancy appointments, bonds, guarantees and collateral warranties. He is also adept at advising on a wide range of forms of building and infrastructure contract including JCT, NEC, ICC and FIDIC forms.

Prior to joining Howard Kennedy, Michael completed a long-term secondment advising 57 Whitehall Sarl on the redevelopment of the iconic Old War Office Building on Whitehall, as seconded project counsel.

Michael's interests include music, travel, skiing and team sports. One evening, Michael was called upon to DJ at a hilltop wedding in Italy.
