Maya Bhat is a Trainee Solicitor in the Wealth and Succession department.

Maya assists the team on a variety of private client matters for high-net-worth individuals and their families.

This includes drafting wills for clients resident/domiciled in both the UK and overseas as well as advising trustees on their roles and responsibilities and associated trust administration matters.

Maya's first seat was in Commercial Property acting for landlords and tenants across a range of commercial property matters.

Maya's second seat was in Commercial Dispute Resolution assisting with a variety of matters including contract-based disputes, negligence, arbitration, restructuring and insolvency.

Before joining Howard Kennedy, Maya completed her LLB Law degree at Cardiff University with a professional placement year as a paralegal in the clinical negligence department. She then completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law.
