Lauren Sieprath helps clients with estates, wills, and succession planning across multiple jurisdictions. She also assists with trusts and inheritance planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Lauren is experienced in administering high-value estates with assets in more than one jurisdiction. She also advises on lifetime trusts and inheritance planning, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Lauren works with high and ultra-high-net-worth clients and their business advisers to develop tailored estate plans focused on wealth preservation, tax minimisation, family considerations, and business succession.

Lauren joined Howard Kennedy in October 2018 after relocating to London from Sydney, Australia.

Lauren was admitted as a Solicitor in 2015 and is a member of The Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP).

Recent work
  • Prepared a complex will for a high-profile individual with an estimated worth in excess of $1bn (AUD).
  • Assisted executors responsible for assets in various jurisdictions (Israel, Australia, France and Taiwan) to co-ordinate the transfer of those assets to beneficiaries.
  • Assisted executors with the administration of the estate and literary estate of a Man Booker Prize winner and the administration of the estate of a Fields Medal winner.
  • Assisted with a trust dispute in relation to a family-run business with an estimated worth in excess of £80m.
  • Worked with colleagues in the United States to assist Australian-US dual citizens manage estate taxes.
  • Prepared a family agreement in relation to the management of estate assets to be held for future generations.

Lauren is an accomplished Water Polo player, competing in three World Championships. She won a Brazilian National Title while playing for Flamengo in Rio.
