Josh currently works in the Banking and Real Estate Finance team within Howard Kennedy's real estate practice. Prior to this, he completed his first seat in the corporate department with a particular focus on insolvency and business recovery. His work included both contentious and non-contentious issues, representing companies entering various insolvency procedures and creditors seeking to recover their contractual debts.
Before beginning his first seat, Josh worked as a paralegal in Howard Kennedy's Business Crime & Regulatory practice. His role focused mainly around disclosure on a financial fraud prosecution brought by the SFO against a defendant in relation to manipulation of the EURIBOR interest rate. He also assisted on regulatory matters brought by the BSB and SRA against defendants.
Previously to this he was a paralegal at Allen & Overy LLP. Josh worked within their litigation and international arbitration team, with a particular focus on financial regulation disputes.
He graduated from Cardiff University with a first class degree in law in 2013. Josh recently completed the accelerated LPC at The University of Law, achieving a distinction. He has also attained a Master's degree in Law, Business and Management, focussing his case study on cryptocurrency regulation.
In the gaps between studying and working, he has spent time teaching English in South-East Asia and recently travelled through South America after finishing the LPC.
I have a keen interest in all things sport. I'm a Brentford FC supporter and enjoyed completing my first marathon and triathlon last year.
