About

Jessica is an Associate in the Employment Team. She advises businesses and individuals on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.

Jessica has experience acting for employers and employees in Employment Tribunal proceedings including in claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. Jessica has also been involved in claims in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal. 

Jessica frequently reviews and drafts employment contracts and settlement agreements, as well as negotiates exit agreements on behalf of clients. Jessica has advised on the handling of grievances, disciplinaries, redundancies and absence management procedures. Additionally, Jessica has represented clients in pre-action correspondence concerning breaches of restrictive covenants and advised on the redrafting of restrictive covenants. 

Prior to joining Howard Kennedy, Jessica trained with a national law firm in Bristol. Jessica advised clients in sectors including technology and retail. 

Jessica is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
