Jane Brassington specialises in transactional and non-transactional corporate work for clients, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and general company law advice.

Jane is a solicitor focusing on private M&A and investments, advising family offices, management teams, and corporate clients. Jane also advises AIM listed clients.

She acts for a variety of clients on acquisitions and disposals of companies and businesses across a variety of sectors including retail and leisure, corporate real estate, energy storage and insurance. 

Jane supports clients across the life cycle of a transaction from the heads of terms stage through to completion and has a hands-on approach every step of the way. She is responsive to her clients' needs and helps her clients achieve their goals in the most effective way possible.

Recent work
  • Acting for a financial services client on the purchase of a queue management app from the founding investors.
  • Advising Insig AI PLC on the reverse takeover of a private company, related fund raise and readmission to AIM.
  • Acting for Galliard and Apsley House Capital on the sale and forward funding of a large residential development in Birmingham known as Soho Wharf. 
  • Acting for Atlantic Green UK Limited (a joint venture between Nofar Energy and Interland) on its acquisition of a site in Cellarhead, Stoke on Trent for the development of the UK's largest battery storage site with a capacity of 300-349 MW.
  • Acting on the sale of an insurance broking business to a large UK insurance intermediary group and onward investment into the new business.
  • Advising Galliard on its recent joint ventures with partner Wavensmere Homes in both Birmingham and Ipswich for large residential developments providing nearly 850 new homes and having a GDV of around £300 million.
