Charlotte Towerton:

Trainee Solicitor

Charlotte Towerton is a trainee solicitor currently undertaking her second seat with our Real Estate Dispute Resolution team.

In her previous seat within the Construction team, Charlotte acted for developers and funders along with professional consultants and specialist sub-contractors.

Before joining Howard Kennedy, Charlotte worked as a paralegal in a commercial dispute resolution department and corporate department at a London law firm. She also previously worked at a Law Centre whereby she was a County Court Advocate; representing clients at their court hearings who arrived at court with no legal representation. Charlotte also has pro-bono experience with the Free Representation Unit and Enterprise Pro Bono Project.

She recently studied the LPC and LLM Law and Business Masters, gaining a Distinction at the University of Law in Moorgate. Prior to this she gained a Distinction in the GDL at the University of Law in Bloomsbury.

Prior to studying and working in Law, Charlotte was in the PR and Public Affairs team at the British Property Federation and latterly at R3, the insolvency trade body.

Charlotte is in the Great Britain Tag Rugby team and won a Bronze medal at the 2018 World Cup in Australia
