Charlotte Colthurst:

Trainee Solicitor

Charlotte Colthurst is a first year trainee solicitor currently assisting the M&A team in the Corporate department.

This is Charlotte's second seat and she is assisting the M&A team with matters such as drafting documents for share transfers and asset purchases, dealing with Companies House filings and conducting due diligence and contract reviews. Charlotte completed her first seat in the Private Client department.  

Before joining the firm, Charlotte worked as a paralegal in the Commercial Litigation team at Rosling King LLP and then as a paralegal in the IP Litigation team at Mishcon de Reya LLP.

Charlotte read History of Art at the University of Warwick, spending a term in Venice, before undertaking a Master's degree in Art Business at Sotheby's Institute of Art in London. She subsequently completed the GDL and achieved a distinction in her LPC at BPP University whilst working at an art gallery and at international art fairs such as Frieze and Masterpiece.

Random fact

Charlotte is a qualified ski instructor and represented her university at regional and national ski racing competitions back in the day.
