Ayesha Salim specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration, acting for and advising clients ranging from private individuals to multinational companies.

She is a solicitor acting for clients involved in contractual, company, shareholder, partnership, and joint venture disputes. 

Ayesha also assists clients with professional negligence and agents' commission claims, as well as, contentious trust and estate, and commercial agency disputes.

Ayesha has extensive experience of alternative dispute resolution including mediation.

Recent work
  • Advising and acting in relation to several company disputes including shareholder disputes; breach of warranties under share and business sale agreements; shareholders' unfair prejudice petitions; and directors' duties and negligence, including securing injunctive relief.
  • Advising and acting in relation to several joint venture and partnership disputes including a dispute between partners in a former hotel development and operation partnership with assets in excess of £200m.
  • Acting for a multi-national company in connection with claims of breaches of warranties relating to standards of service, and in relation to disputes with its joint venture partners. Coordinating proceedings in multiple jurisdictions including Australia, Italy, Spain, Brazil, and India
  • Advising, acting, and securing injunctive relief for a number of companies in relation to misappropriation of information and funds by previous employees, including acting for a multi-national company in its claims against previous employees and new employers in connection with the use of confidential information.
  • Acting for a number of agents in connection with claims for commission; securing freezing orders in relation to the proceeds of sale of properties and disclosure orders.
  • Acting in several claims in professional negligence against solicitors, architects, accountants, tax and financial advisers.
  • Acting and advising in relation to domestic and international LCIA and ICC arbitrations.
