Ashley Reeback applies his "very commercial and efficient" approach to a broad array of corporate transactions on behalf of public and private companies, particularly those that are AIM-listed.

Ashley Reeback  has particular experience acting on corporate transactions in both the public and private arenas, including M&A, IPOs, MBOs and MBIs. He is head of the Corporate Department at Howard Kennedy.

Ashley assists clients on the full spectrum of corporate and capital markets transactions. He has a particular focus on mid-market M&A, as well as, public company transactions. 

He advises on both the purchase and sale of private companies including by way of Management Buy Outs and Management Buy-Ins. 

On the capital markets side of his practice, Ashley acts for clients on Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and has advised on over 40 AIM IPOs (some by way of reverse takeover), acting for both issuers and Nomad/brokers.

Ashley also advises on public takeovers, as well as, early stage and pre-IPO funding rounds.

  • Advising Compass Broker Holdings Limited as the selling shareholders on the sale to Broker Network.
  • Advising a managed office services supplier on the acquisition of various companies including ICA Digital Limited and Geerings Digital Limited.
  • Advising existing shareholders of Aston Barclay Group and the incoming management group on a significant investment by Rutland Partners.
  • Advising the selling shareholders of a cocktail mixer business on its sale to AG Barr, owner of Irn Bru, in a deal of up to £21m.
  • Advising Ideagen Plc on the placing of new shares to raise £20m.
  • Advising Mirada Plc on share placings and loan financings.
  • Advising Young Associates Ltd on the acquisition of Micad.
  • Advising Spectrum Interactive on the UK takeover offer by Arqiva, for a value of circa £23m.
  • Advising Ark Home Healthcare Holdings Limited on the Management-Buy-In backed by Ashridge Capital/Core Capital with funds of £18m.
