Anzélle Ford is a foreign qualified lawyer who has been involved in international construction cases concerning infrastructure projects based on the FIDIC suite of contracts, across various jurisdictions in Europe and the Middle East.

She has several years of experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

Anzélle completed her studies in South Africa, and graduated with B.Com (Law), LLB and a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning. She qualified and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2019. Anzélle is fluent in both English and Afrikaans.

Recent work
  • Ports. Middle East: Acting for an employer in FIDIC DAB proceedings concerning a dispute arising from a US$ 100 million port development project based on the FIDIC Pink Book 2010.
  • Roads. Eastern Europe: Acting for a subcontractor in an ICC arbitration, seated in Paris, in relation to the termination of the subcontract and associated claims. The subcontract related to a motorway project and was based on the FIDIC 1999 Red Book.
  • Tunnels. Northern Europe: Advising an employer in relation to a €1.3 billion bespoke FIDIC 1999 Silver contract.
  • Hotels. Southern Europe: Acting for a contractor in arbitration proceedings in relation to the termination of the contract and associated claims. The contract related to a major refurbishment project and was based on the FIDIC 1999 Red Book.
  • Other. Eastern Europe: Advising a developer on a dispute concerning construction permits.
