Ajay Fournillier is an associate solicitor specialising in commercial dispute resolution. He advises corporate and individual clients across a wide range of sectors.

Ajay advises on contractual disputes, complex civil fraud claims, misrepresentation, insolvency litigation, shareholder disputes, unfair prejudice petitions, professional negligence, breach of directors' duties, debt recovery, enforcement action, appointment of LPA Receivers, challenges to Arbitration Awards and committal applications.

He regularly acts for clients in mediations and is also a member of the firm's Arbitration group.

  • Successfully defeating an injunction application for a lender client.
  • Acting on a high value contractual dispute relating to the supply of steel in the Commercial Court.
  • Advising on an Unfair Prejudice Petition.
  • Successfully assisting a client with recovering all its monies from a bank in connection with an APP Scam.
  • Assisting with defeating a challenge to an Arbitration Award which also resulted in costs being awarded on the indemnity basis (in part) and obtaining a certificate as to finality thereafter.
  • Acting on a committal application which resulted in an 18 month custodial sentence.
  • Acting on a professional negligence claim against a top law firm.
  • Acting for a client in the Waste to Energy sector on a high value claim against its directors.
  • Assisting on a High Court claim which resulted in obtaining judgment against a defendant company and its director for fraudulent misrepresentation and breach of contract.
