About

Adam Fellows is a newly qualified solicitor in the Private Client department. He primarily undertakes work in the trust, tax and estate planning team.

During his training contract at the firm, he rotated between seats in the Private Client, Real Estate (Investment, Landlord and Tenant), Immigration, and Media Litigation teams. He has experience in the full spread of work that those teams undertake.

He also provided trainee support to the Private Wealth sector group, and was part of the Editorial Board for trainee social media channels.

Outside of his main work, Adam is involved with the Toynbee Hall and LawWorks pro bono programme.

Recent work
  • Researching and preparing advice for fee-earners on tax consequences for putting property in trust and taking it out of trust.
  • Drafting wills and trust documents, including provision for assets held abroad.
  • Advising clients on their immigration options and preparing all aspects of their Home Office applications.
  • Preparing a client and her evidence for an immigration tribunal hearing.
  • Advising clients on their immigration options and preparing all aspects of their Home Office applications.
  • Assisting in a cross-department matter advising a client on their immigration and tax residence status and next steps.
  • Negotiating leases and property licences for clients in both the retail and leisure sector and the investment sector.
  • Assisting the partner and Counsel during a high-profile Inquiry where we acted for a core participant.
  • Assisting the team on high-profile defamation claims, including pre-action work and preparing CFAs..
