Tony McKenna joins Howard Kennedy as IT Director

Howard Kennedy is pleased to announce that Tony McKenna has joined us today (15 June 2020) as IT Director.  Tony joins the firm from Gowling WLG UK where he was Director of Information Technology.

Tony will lead the IT team at Howard Kennedy, building on the considerable investment in the IT infrastructure of the firm. His key priorities will be to ensure strategic collaboration with the business, updating the IT resource model, and providing a future-proof technology foundation for business processes. 

Tony is well known in the legal information technology world, having held senior roles at 'magic circle' firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Allen & Overy LLP. 

As well as his professional role, Tony is also a Council member of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) and Chair of the ILTA UK Programming Team. In this role he oversees the development and expansion of ILTA in the UK, devising and delivering a new membership, volunteering and educational strategy to build an overarching peer-based community for the legal profession.
