Howard Kennedy welcomes Monika Byrska as Partner

Howard Kennedy, the London law firm, is pleased to welcome Monika Byrska as a Partner. Monika will join the Contentious Trusts and Estates team, effective 21 February 2022. 

Monika, who holds both ACTAPS* and STEP** qualifications and is a fluent Polish speaker, will provide additional depth to Howard Kennedy’s highly regarded Contentious Trusts and Estates team, whilst also strengthening the firm’s growing Private Wealth offering. 

Monika joins Howard Kennedy from Thomson Snell & Passmore where she was a partner instrumental in helping the Contentious Trusts and Probate team develop and expand. Prior to that, Monika spent nine years as a solicitor at the specialist litigation firm Anthony Gold. 

Monika has worked with both domestic and international clients. Her pan-European experience will be an asset for Howard Kennedy as the firm continues to respond to the increasing demand from HNW and UHNW clients for cross-border expertise in the context of trusts and estates disputes.

Monika is the most recent in a series of senior hires to Howard Kennedy's Private Wealth offering including Reshmi Manekporia (Partner, from BCLP), and Nina Lake (Partner, from Child & Child).
