Howard Kennedy recognised in 2022 Legal 500 Directory

The Legal 500 is an independent guide where firms and individuals are recommended purely on merit. The rankings are based on recommendations by fellow professionals and clients garnered through a rigorous and comprehensive research process.

This year Howard Kennedy is ranked in 25 categories, showcasing the breadth and depth of expertise the firm offers. The many glowing testimonials received from clients and other professionals about individuals and teams across the firm were a particular highlight this year. The guide also features "Leading Individuals", "Next Generation Partners" and "Rising Stars" who are singled out for individual praise.

Leading Individuals

Partner Ian Ryan is recognised in the Fraud: White-collar crime category. Department Head Ashley Reeback is recognised in the M&A: Smaller deals category, and Emily Mailer and Naomi O'Higgins are both recognised in the Contentious Trusts & Probate category.

And finally, the well-known Mark Stephens is recognised in three categories: Art & Cultural Property, Civil Liberties & Human Rights, and Media & Entertainment.

Next Generation Partners

This category recognises upcoming talent and the firm is delighted this year to see partner Elizabeth Morley recognised in both the Civil Liberties & Human Rights and the Media & Entertainment categories. Recently promoted Partner Jade Chalmers has built on her "Rising Star" ranking last year to feature as a "Next Generation Partner" in the Planning category.  Consultant Daniel McClean is also recognised in this group for his work in the Art & Cultural Property category.

Rising Stars

The firm is excited to see Associate Lizzie Barclay's recognition for the first time for Contentious Trusts & Probate, and Legal Director Ben Ticehurst was also recognised for the first time in Fraud: White-Collar Crime.
