The Lawyer Awards have been the ultimate stage for legal mastery in the UK for the past couple of decades, honouring top-notch lawyers and powerhouse firms across diverse areas. Winners are carefully chosen by an esteemed judging panel from The Bar, Private Practice, and In-house sectors, ensuring objectivity and extensive expertise. Judges meticulously score each entry, crafting a shortlist of the finest in each category and ultimately crowning the champions.
Our submission, the Morden Wharf project, demonstrates our ability to navigate complex legal challenges with precision. We provided strategic advice on property acquisition, funding structures, and forward funding within a joint venture agreement. The project presented various complexities, including land vesting across multiple sellers and nuanced considerations such as SDLT liabilities, all of which we managed effectively.
