The Private Wealth group has retained its rankings across a number of categories in the Chambers High Net Worth (HNW) 2022 Guide. We're also delighted to report that our Business Crime team has also been ranked in the "Financial Crime: High Net Worth Individuals" category for the first time.

Chambers and Partners is an independent research company delivering detailed rankings and insight into the world's leading lawyers, based on recommendations by fellow professionals and clients. Their High Net Worth guide features law firms, banks, fiduciaries, accountancy firms and wealth managers providing services to ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals and families and family offices.

Our Private Wealth group now has 10 lawyers ranked across six categories, demonstrating strength and breadth within the team.

It has been a good year for the Business Crime team, with Senior Associate, Jennifer Harper, ranked for the first time. She appears as an "Associate to Watch" in the "Financial Crime: High Net Worth Individuals" category. She's described as “A star in the making, a Senior Associate who knows the case inside out and is always thinking about the best angle.”

Ian Ryan, who has been ranked in the "Financial Crime: High Net Worth Individuals" category for several years saw his ranking increase from Band 3 to Band 2. The guide notes that "He is a master strategist who brings exceptional expertise and experience.”

Furthermore, the Business Crime team as a whole has received recognition in the "Financial Crime: High Net Worth Individuals" category for the first time, with a source adding "They are able to see the big picture and the firm excels at dealing with connected litigation issues. Every member of their team is fantastic. Even the trainees are excellent."

In the "Private Wealth Disputes" category, Naomi O'Higgins, who has featured in the guide for many years, has seen her ranking improve from Band 4 to Band 3. Sources note “She's just got an incredibly good reputation in the market and is a safe pair of hands. I trust her judgement."
