Following careful consideration involving external experts, Howard Kennedy is introducing a new career level as an enhancement to its all-equity partnership. Under the new two-tier partnership structure, a newly created level will be introduced for those wishing to join the partnership as partners on a fixed share basis with an equity stake in the firm.

The Management Committee at Howard Kennedy continuously reviews the processes and structures in place to ensure that they best support the continued growth and development of the firm. The new partnership, effective from 1 June 2022, provides greater flexibility for Howard Kennedy’s existing and future talent, and for the firm more generally as it continues to grow.

The announcement follows the reappointment of Craig Emden as Managing Partner who set out an ambitious three-year growth plan for the firm.

Commenting on the new partnership structure, Craig said: “This announcement is proof of the great progress we are making towards achieving our goals. As we enter this next stage of growth, we’ve put recruitment and promotion of our top talent at the centre of our strategy to create a culture in which people thrive. As an agile firm, we constantly review the policies and processes in place to attract and retain outstanding talent that allow us to optimally service our clients.”
