Howard Kennedy has advised Weezy, an online supermarket experience delivering in 15 minutes, on the acquisition of their first premises in London. Co-founded by Alec Dent, the new start-up and disruptor in the digital world is now live in Fulham and Chelsea.
Adam Walford, Partner and Head of Retail & Leisure led the transaction alongside Associate Samantha Horsfall.
Alec Dent, co-founder and COO of Weezy comments: "Adam and Sam made the important step of leasing our first premises really straightforward. They understood our needs as a young rapidly expanding business. The transaction was done quickly and their support throughout was invaluable."
Adam Walford, Partner at Howard Kennedy comments: "We are delighted to have helped Weezy and see this business come alive. We particularly enjoyed playing our part in this deal as Howard Kennedy regularly supports new entrepreneurial clients. We think the concept of their business is unique and exciting and we encourage any of our colleagues, friends and family to check them out and upvote your postcode so that they can expand their reach to more areas across London and the UK. One thing the global pandemic has taught us is that we really need to develop our digital world to suit our consumer needs. This concept echoes this and it really is convenience at its finest."
