"Tower.

Howard Kennedy has advised Galliard Homes on the sale of a 17-acre industrial site located in Southall, West London to a joint venture formed by Cain International and Firethorn Trust.

The site, which includes the former Honey Monster cereal factory, was assembled by Galliard and will become one of the largest industrial developments in London. Under the new ownership it is set to be developed into an urban logistics warehouse in a prime London location to fulfil an undersupplied market.

Advising on the transaction was a multi-disciplinary team across Howard Kennedy including Corporate Real Estate led by Jane Brassington, Real Estate led by David Philips, and Construction led by James Stewart.

David Hirschfield, Legal Director at Galliard Homes said, "This was a significant transaction for Galliard, realising the value in a site assembled over a 5-year period. We are pleased to have partnered with Howard Kennedy again and it was our longstanding relationship with the Howard Kennedy team across corporate, property and finance which enabled completion of this transaction to go smoothly."

Jane Brassington, Legal Director at Howard Kennedy said, "We are delighted to have successfully completed another high value corporate real estate transaction for Galliard. This deal is the latest in a series of corporate joint ventures, acquisition and sale transactions that we have worked with Galliard on over the past two years."
