On 24 June 2021 Italian nationals Michele Di Pierro and Marcello Di Pierro, and the English company International Brand Firm Limited, were unanimously convicted by a jury at Southwark Crown Court sitting at Prospero House. They were convicted of conspiracy to defraud and fraud by misrepresentation, in respect of the widespread counterfeiting of Supreme clothing throughout Europe and in China.
HHJ Beddoe described the case as one of the most sophisticated and determined counterfeiting operations that he had come across and the defendants' conduct in hijacking every facet of Supremes' corporate identity as "brazen" and "dishonest". On 25 June 2021 Michele and Marcello Di Pierro were sentenced to eight and five years imprisonment and the company was fined £7.5 million.
