From 1 January 2021 the UK introduces a points-based immigration system. You may have heard adverts on the TV and Radio telling you that businesses must apply for a sponsor licence if they wish to employ foreign talent. In this webinar we looked at everything you need to know about the UK's new immigration system.

The new immigration system will apply to both EU and non-EU citizens. It outlines that EU, EEA and Swiss citizens moving to the UK on or after 1 January 2021 will need a visa to be able to work. The system will treat EU and non-EU citizens equally and aims to attract people who can contribute to the UK’s economy. Irish citizens will continue to be able to enter and live in the UK as they do now.

In this webinar our Head of Immigration Services, Antonia Torr, explained the differences in the new system and what you should do to prepare for the new immigration system. It is relevant to those dealing with applications for workers wanting to remain or move to UK for work from overseas.
