We have a four-person multi-disciplinary team attending the IBA in Paris this October. If you're going, we'd like to meet you.
The Howard Kennedy team will be present throughout. Members of the team are actively involved in committee work, including the Family and Media Law Committees as well as the IBA Human Rights Institute and will be involved throughout the week in what promises to be a very busy programme.
Mark Stephens is one of the speakers in the IBA's Human Rights Institute session titled: "A SLAPP in the face: human rights or the end of defamation?" and is chairing a later session titled: "SLAPPed: the role of lawyers in contributing to the global threat to human rights of freedom of expression and access to information". Both events take place on Thursday 2 November. Jessie Smith is one of the speakers at the Family Law Committee session titled "Here’s hoping and hopping: around the prenup world in 80 minutes" on Monday 30 October.
