Nick Treppass is an experienced  solicitor advising on all aspects of  contentious and non-contentious employment law. 

He  specialises on contentious issues such as unfair and wrongful dismissal claims and enforcement of post termination restrictions in employment contracts.

His non-contentious experience includes advising on TUPE issues and mass redundancy programmes and provision of strategic and commercial advice to employers.

Nick is a member of the Employment Lawyers' Association.

Recent work
  • Advised a well-known property developer on the TUPE implications of the reorganisation and outsourcing of its entire estate management staff on all its UK sites.
  • Advised on all employment aspects arising out of the break up of a well-known London hotel chain to include a TUPE exercise involving over 1,000 employees and a difficult collective redundancy exercise.
  • Advised a senior hotel employee in relation to a disability discrimination claim and settlement with the employer and the employer's insurers.
  • Advised a senior banker on a negotiated exit from his employer.
  • Acted for the respondent when a collective redundancy exercise carried out in house went awry and resulted in 10 Employment Tribunal claims that were all settled on favourable terms in advance of a hearing.
