The plan prioritises eight issues to address, including improving the application of the Equal Pay Directive by entitling employees to request information on all pay levels and by encouraging employers to regularly report their gender pay gap.
The Government and Equalities Office has published a toolkit for employers, aimed at helping close the gender pay gap. The toolkit sets out advice and actions that employers can take to improve and promote gender equality in the workplace.
