Did you know
Rufus Scholefield is a trainee solicitor in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team.
Rufus assists the team across a range of commercial disputes, including contractual disputes, civil fraud claims, debt recovery actions and negligence claims. He works with both corporate and individual clients.
Rufus's previous seat was with the Planning team. Here he worked on a number of high-value planning disputes.
Before joining Howard Kennedy, Rufus read MA Hons History and MSc Contemporary History degrees at the University of Edinburgh before completing the GDL and LPC.
Rufus was selected to be in the LawInSport Mentee Programme. The programme selects 28 young lawyers, from 12 different countries, to be mentored by industry leading lawyers early in their careers.
Rufus rowed internationally for Team GB and has rowed across the Atlantic Ocean in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge raising £100,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.
