Jas Lotay

Jas Lotay is a solicitor in the Residential Development team and acts for developers on the sale of residential units in some of the City's most prestigious developments that forge the cityscape of London.

Jas is experienced in working with developers from all walks of life. Her expertise ranges from first time developers with small-scale residential developments to more complex sites with national housebuilders.   Jas currently provides focus on more high-end developments that have complex commercial needs.  Her expertise is to deliver a bespoke service to the developers requiring that direct hands-on approach.

Jas prides herself in being in tune with clients' commercial objectives and knowing one size does not fit all.  She has experience in new build site acquisition, site set up and providing a full service, from reservation to completion of individual residential disposals. Her experience also extends to acting on behalf of lenders in acquisition and development finance. She acts on high-net-worth residential sale purchases and negotiates tenancy agreements, as well as acts for the purchaser of HMO portfolios.

Jas has experience in dealing with Islamic Finance transactions and firmly understands the structure and how it fits into development purchases.

She also advises clients on all aspects of the new build process commencing from land acquisitions, preparation, and set up of developments, to the disposal of individual units.

Jas has responsibility for managing a team of paralegals who are trained to deal with large numbers of transactions in a short space of time. She provides hands-on supervision and training dealing with matters from the initial stages through to completion/post completion.
