Emma Green is a family law solicitor with particular expertise in providing solution focused thinking in invariably critical times for her clients. She specialises in private law children cases and matrimonial matters.

Emma specialises in all aspects of family law including divorce and related financial remedy proceedings, civil partnership, pre-nuptial and other marital agreements, co-habitation disputes. and Children Act Proceedings. She is a Legal Director in the Family team.

Emma sits on Resolution’s Skills and Support Committee which exists to design training that develops members’ personal and professional skills.

  • G v G and Magiera v Magiera -  Acting  for ex-wife in a jurisdiction battle and determination of her interests in  a TALTA application concerning the former matrimonial home located in London.
  • Successfully securing mother's choice of secondary school for twin daughters on father's specific issue order application.
  • Similarly successfully opposing father's application as to child arrangements and choice of school for teenage daughters.
  • Acting for mother in highly contested children proceedings; successfully challenging husband's complaints brought in criminal proceedings and allegations against mother of physical and psychological abuse towards child and obtaining a shared care arrangement order where father was refusing Mother any time with child.
  • Acting for wife in High Court financial remedy proceedings .  Successfully challenging husband's reliance on pre-nuptial agreement on grounds of its validity and it not meeting the Wife's needs resulting in Wife being awarded a significant lump sum, maintenance and a share of the pension.
  • Acting for the husband in divorce and financial proceedings  where the principal issue at the final hearing was the valuation of the husband's shareholding and successfully challenging wife's claim of a quasi partnership.
