Anjali Raval is an employment solicitor, advising on all aspects of employment law issues, from providing day-to-day HR support to contentious matters and complex corporate transactions.

Anjali offers clients straightforward commercial advice and develops relationships with her clients so that she can properly understand their business. Her clients range from senior executives to multinational corporations.

Anjali supports clients on a diverse range of matters including  drafting contracts and policy documents, advising on complex business restructurings and insolvency proceedings, negotiating settlement agreements, and assisting clients in managing difficult redundancy processes.

She has valuable experience in the Employment Tribunal, representing clients on claims involving multiple allegations of discrimination and constructive unfair dismissal. She also advises clients on high value claims in the High Court, including team moves, breach of restrictive covenants, and breach of confidentiality obligations.

Additionally, Anjali acts for clients in the regulated space, including financial services. Anjali is set up to assist clients looking to prepare for the extension of the Senior Managers & Certification Regime.

Anjali is part of the firm's Private Wealth group and advises high net worth individuals on employment issues including hiring personal staff and operating family offices.

  • Acted for a large financial services groups in relation to claims of direct race and religious discrimination by a former employee.
  • Advised a listed estate agency on a potential claim against a former employee who had breached his fiduciary duties, misused confidential information, and breached his post-termination restrictions.
  • Advised a global real estate developer on the purchase of multiple hotels in the UK, including the application of and obligations under TUPE.
  • Advised a regulated LLP on allegations of sexual harassment by a regulated individual in the context of the #MeToo movement and having regard to the client's regulatory obligations.
  • Advised an international jewellery retailer on a data subject access request by an employee who was involved in an on-going employment dispute with the company.
  • Advised a luxury hotel client on a restructure involving a number of redundancies.
Anjali was appointed a co-opted Governor at Southwark Park Primary School.
