As the world becomes more connected, many families now have loved ones, properties and investments across the globe.

As this increases, so do the ways in which you can structure your wealth and manage succession through the generations.

In this webinar we will focus on the main lifetime planning issues and opportunities for individuals with presence in the India and the UK. We will cover:

  • Domicile in the UK and India: What this means for you, your property and succession planning, including if you move or live between jurisdictions. We will look at a number of different scenarios, including an individual who was born and raised in India, but has now settled in the UK and what this means for their domicile status and succession planning.
  • Tax and Real Estate in the UK: An insight into what you need to consider if you already have or are transferring wealth into the UK, particularly to acquire residential property. We will also look at the regulatory framework in place in India. A brief update will follow on how the UK property market is at the moment and what this could look like post Brexit.

This webinar will take the format of a panel discussion where Howard Kennedy's Liz Palmer and Chirag Rao will be joined by Anand Shah and Shreya Rao from AZB & Partners
