The London Alliance

At Howard Kennedy we've joined "The London Alliance"; a community of businesses from across the city that will help drive recovery in London's economy. Led by London & Partners, the international trade, investment and promotion agency for London, we are uniting with big businesses, brands, cultural organisations and city authorities across this amazing City to support their "Because I'm a Londoner" campaign.

The campaign aims to inspire a recovery in consumer spending in London by helping Londoners to feel confident to go out and explore their local area, support nearby businesses, share their passion for the city and give others the confidence to experience it too. The campaign captures the unique spirit of Londoners who have overcome big challenges in the past and will do so again.

Howard Kennedy's heritage and future is London. We are aware of the impact we have as a business and take that responsibility seriously. We have always supported local initiatives, such as the Totally Thames Festival exhibition at London Bridge Railway Station, and use local suppliers, such as BoroughBox, where we can. We have developed a wide-ranging programme that anchors around supporting our local community, from charity work with our charity partner Centrepoint, to pro bono legal advice clinics to our environmental footprint.

Our natural alignment with this campaign is not only because it resonates with who we are as a business, but also the businesses of our clients. Our clients are often small to medium entrepreneurial businesses operating within London's retail, food and hospitality sectors, as well as the creative industries. These industries have been dealt a huge blow as a result of Covid-19.

Howard Kennedy will join businesses across London in a social conversation, encouraging our staff, clients and network to get involved and share their stories across their own channels. Together we will help London’s culture, retail, hospitality and events sectors to thrive after coronavirus, saving the jobs of some of the most vulnerable Londoners, and securing the unique culture and lifestyle that makes London a global magnet for talent and investment.
