Through private medical insurance, dental insurance, a virtual GP service, eye tests, cancer screening, allergy testing, annual flue vaccinations, we equip our people with the tools they need to maintain their health. We also provide income protection in the event they become unable to work for a period of time.
We encourage our people to talk about their mental and emotional health by providing access to mental health first aiders, an employee assistance programme, a wellbeing app, and a number of resilience support tools.
Meanwhile, we believe that staying healthy also includes eating well and getting regular exercise, which is why we provide nutritional consultations, access to online workouts, and corporate discounts on gym memberships and home fitness products. We also maintain an annual diary of resilience seminars and other wellness initiatives.
And having the opportunity to take a break from work is key to performing well at work, so we offer everyone at Howard Kennedy 25 days of holiday every year as well as the opportunity to take an extended break under our sabbatical leave provisions.
