Social impact


Our charity initiatives centre around our people working hard to support a cause we care about through fundraising and volunteering. It is what we do as a socially responsible business.

We believe we can make the greatest impact by focusing on one key charity at a time. We're currently working with Centrepoint as our partner charity. This was chosen by our staff to help beat youth homelessness in the UK.

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity. According to their research, 110,000 young people asked for help with homelessness last year - this needs to change.

From taking part in Centrepoint's annual Sleepout, to monthly raffles to quiz nights and running marathons, there is no end to the different ways that we raise much needed funds for our chosen charity. We also recognise that fundraising only goes so far to make a tangible impact, which is why we look to our people to volunteer to help our charity partner on a practical level as much as we can. Every person at Howard Kennedy is given a day each year (on top of their annual leave) to use to volunteer their time towards a charitable cause.

Since starting our partnership with Centrepoint we have raised over £80,000 which will all go towards supporting their fantastic work.

The firm has also implemented a Give As You Earn scheme. This means that everyone has the option to select a charity to contribute to through payroll which will come out of their gross pay.

These partnerships are so important for our charity; the income they generate allows us to continue providing vital support to some of the most vulnerable young people in the UK. We've seen Howard Kennedy employees gardening, sleeping outdoors and pub quizzing, all in support of Centrepoint, and we could not be more grateful. Thank you so much Howard Kennedy.
