Steven Morris

Partner Steven Morris joined Howard Kennedy on 1 September 2003 from Amhurst Brown Colombotti as part of the merger between the two firms. He has over 24 years' experience specialising in international cases and arbitrations.

Steven specialises in international commercial litigation and international arbitration, dry shipping, partnership disputes, fraud related matters, company shareholder disputes, insolvency law, administrative law and professional negligence. With experience in offshore tax-related work, he also undertakes trust and tax-related litigation. His clients range from private individuals to multinational companies and foreign Governments. He has significant experience in conducting litigation overseas on behalf of UK individuals and corporations and has advised clients in a wide variety of actions. Following a postgraduate degree specialising in international law, Steven has also been instructed in a public international law case before the International Court of Justice in the Hague.

Steven is a CEDR accredited mediator. He is a member of the International Law Association and a Council member of the Pakistan-Britain Trade & Investment Forum. Steven has particularly close links with Pakistan and the Middle East. Clients include the Government of Pakistan, Pakistan National Shipping Corporation, and His Excellency Ghassan Shaker.
