Martin Davies

Partner Martin Davies joined Howard Kennedy in 1999 and is the Head the firm’s International Department.

Martin has been involved in international legal work for over 25 years and has managed law firm offices in Riyadh and Washington, DC. Martin’s clients are a combination of private individuals, prominent families and corporate clients from a range of jurisdictions including the Middle East, South East Asia and North America, dealing with inward investment, personal and business succession planning, international trade and related structuring and taxation issues as well as acting as general counsel to a range of UK and offshore clients.

Martin is often involved in strategic planning and decision making for high profile individuals and their businesses worldwide. Martin co-ordinates the firm’s relationships with overseas law firms and other professionals and is the elected Vice-Chairman of leading global network Lawyers Associated Worldwide (LAW) which has over 3,000 lawyers in 100 jurisdictions. Martin is a Trustee of the Duke of York’s charity, the Yorkshire Foundation, and is a member of the International Bar Association the Saudi British Association and the Middle East Association.
