Partner Bo Kehinde joined Howard Kennedy in November 2008 in our Tax Department. Bo is a Chartered Tax adviser and his main areas of expertise are property and corporate taxation. His experience includes implementation of SDLT saving schemes involving (amongst others) unit trusts and long lease planning, advising on partnership structures and tax efficient collective investment vehicles for individuals and corporate entities and the migrating of residence offshore.

His experience also extends to: tax structuring of real estate investment and financing including cross-border investments; property finance structures and capital allowance planning; advising on a variety of SDLT mitigation strategies, advising local authorities and contractors on PFI and similar projects; property fund formations; corporate group reorganisations (including demergers and tax efficient capital raising structures); urban regeneration projects; and VAT planning.

He has given several talks on SDLT and direct tax matters at conferences and contributed articles to various publications including the Tax Journal.

Bo is a member of the newly formed Africa Group tasked with developing business and client relationships particularly in West Africa.
