Consultant Iain Harris joined Howard Kennedy in 1999. His expertise lies in a wide range of practice over the last 30 years covering contentious work of all types at all levels.
Iain has a substantial family practice with expertise in ancillary relief and children cases. A major part of his practice is property related and he heads up the Property Litigation team within the litigation department. He is an Adjudicator for the Legal Services Commission and a member of its Mulir Party, Special and High Cost Cases Committees. He was appointed a deputy District Judge in 1998 and he regularly sits on the South Eastern Circuit. Away from the office, he is Vice Chair of the Family Welfare Association and chair of its Audit Committee. He is a co-opted Parish Councillor and, an elected parent school governor.
