Partner Vernon Dennis joined Howard Kennedy in January 2007 as Head of the Corporate Recovery & Reconstruction Department.
Vernon is highly experienced in both contentious and non-contentious insolvency related matters and draws together the firm’s insolvency law expertise from its corporate finance, banking, employment, media and property departments to provide a dedicated corporate recovery and reconstruction service.
Vernon regularly acts for insolvency practitioners, and also advises creditors, including banks and other stakeholders on recovery options and debtors, including companies and directors who are facing financial difficulty and/or where they are planning a programme of business reconstruction.
He is a fellow of R3 The Association of Business Recovery Professionals, the Insolvency Lawyers Association and the Turnaround Management Association. He lectures regularly and is the author of The New Law of Insolvency (Law Society 2003), Insolvency Law Handbook (Law Society 2005); a second edition of which was published in October 2007 and 'Administration' which was published in May 2010.
His new book 'Liquidation' is due to be published later in 2010.
