Partner Cordelia Brand joined Howard Kennedy's Private Client Department in January 2009. Cordelia advises a broad range of UK domiciled and non-domiciled individuals, their families and family businesses in all aspects concerning personal tax planning, wills, trusts and complex estate administration. Her experience also includes tax efficient will drafting, wills for the non-conventional family unit, providing advice on inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax. Charity Law is another of Cordelia’s specialisms, acting for clients in the preparation of Charity Trust Deeds and registration of Charities; as well as acting as a trustee for both individuals and charities.
Cordelia is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and sits on the Central London STEP Committee. She is also a member of the Law Society Probate Section.
